BBC Update

This Sunday was our 11th week at BBC. Richard had my Dad preach and it was a great message. We had a total of 16 people. We have a couple faithful families and we are so grateful for them. We have opened our home for Wednesday night Bible studies and prayer meetings. At the moment, Richard is teaching from Ephesians. Thanks to all that our faithfully praying for our new work. We will keep you updated.

Bible Baptist Church's First Sunday Service

We had our first Sunday service April 26th at the Baymont Inn in Dale, to our surprise we had thirteen visitors and eight family members. What a blessing! It was a great service. We hope to have many more just like it. Thank you to all who have helped make the start of BBC so succesful. Please continue to pray that the Lord will be in everything that we try to do for Him.

This was our first preacher's fellowship, we are planning on having at least one a year.

Early Spring

The new church tract has been finalized & should be off to the printers on Monday, thanks to the help & effort of my friend & Pastor, Curtis Hall, from Maranatha Baptist Church. If all goes well, we should have them within about 10 days from Monday, Mar. 30th. Please pray for planning & co-ordinating of canvassing the area. Friends from at least three churches have offered to help hand out fliers & tracts, which we hope to start on the first or second Saturday of April. We plan to have our first service on the last Sunday of April, or first Sunday in May.

Update

Welcome to the Bible Baptist Church of Dale, Indiana’s blog! This, Lord willing, is just the start of many post updates to come in the future. As many of you know, by the grace of God, we are in the beginnings of starting an Independent Bible Believing Baptist Church. We now have a P.O. box, a telephone number, and we are in the process of making our church tracts (which, when finished, will be put on here). Please pray for our family as we take the first step in our new adventure and may the name of the Lord Jesus Christ be honored and glorified throughout!

Be Honest With Yourself!

Evolutionary formula for making a universe:
1. Nothing+nothing=two elements+time=92 natural elements+time=all physical laws & a completely structured universe of galaxies, systems, stars, planets, & moons orbiting in perfect balance & order.
Evolutionary formula for making life:
2. Dirt+water+time= living creatures.
Evolutionists theorize that the above two formulas can enable everything about us to make itself- with the exception of man-made things, such as automobiles or buildings. Complicated things, such as wooden boxes with nails in them, require thought, intelligence and careful workmanship. But everything else about us in nature( such as hummingbirds & the human eye) is declared to be the result of accidental mishaps, random confusion, & time. You will not even need raw materials to begin with. They make themselves too.

Docrinal Statement

Final Authority
The King James Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith & practise.
The King James Bible is altogether inerrant, inspired & scripture.

The Condition of Man
Man is born in sin, & by nature, at enmity with God
Rom. 3:10 ...there is none righteous, no, not one...
Rom. 8:7 ...the carnal mind is enmity against God...

The Penalty for Sin
1. Has to be paid.
Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death...
2. Has already been paid by Someone Else, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Isa. 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities...
2 Cor. 5:21 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
3. If the payment already paid for sin by Jesus Christ is not accepted, the individual will pay for his own sin.
Rev. 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Salvation
1. Is available to anyone.
Rom. 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
2. God will have all men to be saved.
1 Tim. 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
3. Man decides of his own free will whether to be saved or not. The fact that that not all men get saved is clearly due to man's free will.
2 Pet. 3:9 The Lord is not ... willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
4. Is a free gift, & cannot be earned or merited in any way.
Gal. 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ
Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eternal Security
Because the salvation through Jesus Christ is complete, & nothing can be added to or taken from it, the Believer becomes an adopted child of God, part of Him.
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish...
Rom. 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eph. 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
